Summary
MAJOR SPOILERS FOR 'My demon best friend' GO READ THAT FIRST
After a rather jarring reveal on Virgil's birthday, the mortal and his friends are now pressed with the task of fixing the magic that fuels the whole of The Upstairs, because if they don't, it puts every magical being Virgil knows at risk. Including his boyfriend and the boy he gave up nearly a decade of his life for to make sure he was safe.
On top of the limited amount of time to figure out how to fix the magic and all the problems that were causing it, there are a few other issues. Such as Virgil's and Patton's relationship now being public, the push for Virgil to find his family and gain his immortality back, even if he didn't really want it anymore, and the possibility of Remus getting back his angelic-like state, which would no longer separate the twins.
Will Virgil actually help with this and give up the domestic calm life he had desperately been wanting, or will he sit back and let someone else risk their life this time?
