   Summary

   Illi was weird, and she’d always fucking known it. So had her brother. And all the people who once called themselves her friends. It’s not her fault she wasn’t smart, and was popular, and was born a guy but just wasn’t anymore. But all that didn’t matter anymore, because she had been sent away from her home in LA, all the way to fucking New Jersey of all places, cause her parents deemed the one person who would actually interact with her a “distraction”. That person was Illi’s brother Mikey, Illi had always assumed that most parents would be happy to have their kids be friends. But apparently that wasn’t true. At least not for the Ways. And that would be, the exact, precise, reason why Illi was at an airport right now. Waiting, to get picked up by the people she was staying with. one of her mom’s friends, Linda, and her son Frank, the Lero family or something.
