“How much time do you have?” Chan asked in a whisper, like he was afraid of the answer.
Jihoon tossed the bag to his bed, letting it land amongst the careful arrangement of blankets and various pilfered hoodies and sweaters. It was a question he got asked a lot. He understood it. It always felt like they were fighting with some unseeable clock, the manifestation of work that encroached on every moment he had with his packmates. But today he had set that aside. Today he had decided that he would participate in caring for the pups like all the others did.
