“It's kind of like these roses. By themselves they're beautiful, and the thorns can protect them most of the time…but the stems are weak and not supported. If you tried to put them together carelessly they would scratch each other and maybe even sever the fragile stems…However, if you were to braid two together perfectly you would end up with a stronger rose. The two would support each other along the stems and the thorns would be doubled up for extra protection without damaging each other. Instead, they would be facing outwards; extra defended against anything outside of their embrace…”
