Chapter Text
The girls were prepared, with their pencils ready to start the meeting with their fans. Zoey was energetically talking to her fans, taking photos, handing out little gifts and receiving stuffed animals from her fans. Mira was signing posters, signing being “tricked” by fans on their wrists or arms for tattoo designs.
Rumi was on automatic, signing, having her picture taken, receiving gifts, flowers and much more just like the girls, but without having much contact with her fans. It pained her to react after attending to her fans.
He gave a smile to the young people as he waved goodbye to them. A black-haired girl with green eyes approached Rumi with a basket of food.
She handed it to him with a smile. Rumi signed a card to hand it over. She brushed the girl's hands, feeling a shiver causing her to quickly pull her hand away.
- Rumi, are you okay? -Bobby asked, taking the basket off the table and leaving it behind with the other gifts.
- Yes...
He looked down at his hand, his marks beginning to spread.
- I need a break," she whispered to Bobby, getting up from her chair to go to the bathroom.
He listened in the distance as Bobby led the fans to Zoey and Mira's stalls. He watched his hand along the way, his purple marks showing on his fair skin.
- This must not be happening,‘ she whispered in fright, opening the bathroom door, ’This must not be happening!
She took off her jacket, her mark running down her arms with a glowing hand, warming her blood. She hit the mirror in frustration, her own reflection laughing at her, she looked at her arms again, the marks stopped glowing. But her hand kept the marks.
- When we get the Honmoon, everything will go back to normal," Rumi repeated as if that gave her hope.
He took his jacket, put it back on. She washed her hand, removing the glass from her knuckles, it no longer hurt, her other hand trembled as she removed the extracts. The marks tormented her more.
She returned to the meeting, covering her hands with some gloves she had kept. That girl was gone, she approached Bobby as he sat up in his seat.
- Have you seen the girl who gave me that basket? -he asked as he went back to signing posters for his fans.
‘Ah... I tried to find her when you left, but she disappeared. She even left the card I had given her.’ Rumi nodded. ‘The meeting ends in twenty minutes!’
The fans went wild, and Rumi laughed a little when she saw them. Her mobile phone was ringing, but she ignored it for a few minutes until Zoey hugged her excitedly.
‘Rumi, the SajaBoys want to collaborate with us!’ she exclaimed excitedly. Rumi glanced sideways at Mira, who was smiling at Zoey's words. ‘Everyone's gone crazy!’
Zoey let go of her to return to her seat. There were few fans left, so Rumi picked up her phone, but the notifications caused it to freeze. She waited a few minutes to see the story on the SajaBoys' account, a photo of the basket given to Rumi a few moments ago.
The comments hinted at a collaboration. Relations between the groups, the Saja account claimed that they were discussing a collaboration, driving the fans crazy.
‘What are they planning?’ whispered Rumi, bewildered.

Zoey and Mira relaxed on the sofa, in their bathrobes after a bath. Rumi, on the other hand, was still wearing the clothes she had worn to the meeting, ignoring her gloves covered in blood on the inside and her tired face.
‘Do you think it's a trap?’ she asked, sitting away from them. Holding her mobile phone in her injured hand.
‘I think it would be fun,’ replied Zoey, eating crisps.
‘They're demons, of course they have bad intentions,’ replied Mira with her eyes closed. ‘If we fall into their trap, it will be easier to kill them. And Honmoon will be safe.’
Rumi sighed, silently thanking Mira.
‘But they haven't done anything wrong!’ Zoey exclaimed.
‘Not yet...’ Rumi and Mira clarified at the same time.
‘But you accepted the basket!’ Zoey said, showing them the basket of food, still unopened. ‘They were so kind to send this.’
‘Remind me to take the photos of Baby and Mystery out of their room,’ Mira whispered, getting up from the sofa.
‘No... it wasn't kind,’ Rumi remembered as she felt the chill again. ‘The person who gave me the basket wasn't one of them. It was a girl.’
‘Their manager? Or maybe a fan who was paid to give you the basket.’
‘Why would they do something like that?’ Mira asked from the kitchen. Rumi glanced sideways at Zoey before turning on her mobile phone.
‘I don't know... but that girl was a demon,’ Rumi whispered.
Zoey shrugged, opening the basket and handing Rumi a muffin. No design, just a chocolate muffin with a ribbon bearing Rumi's name.
‘Food is food. I'm not going to waste it,’ Zoey said, taking a bite of the muffin with the ribbon bearing her name.
Mira also took her muffin, red sprinkles and a bow of the same colour, took a small bite while drinking strawberry juice.
Rumi, suspicious, took a bite before eating it all at once, removing the bow. Sweet, too sweet, but enough to restore her energy.
‘Well, have a nice rest,’ she smiled as she stretched while getting up from the sofa. ‘I'll be in my room, sleeping like a baby.’
‘Good night, Rumi!’ Zoey exclaimed with a smile, ready to rest on the sofa.
Mira waved goodbye as she continued to eat, relaxed on the sofa. Zoey appeared with a deck of cards, looking triumphantly at Mira.
‘This time, I'm going to win,’ she said confidently. Mira smiled a little.
‘Sure,’ she said, taking the cards and starting to play.
Rumi watched them out of the corner of her eye, with a small smile. She went into her room, falling directly onto her bed in a dead weight. Ignoring the injury to her knuckles.
The windows in the room revealed an exhausted Rumi. Sleeping in the clothes she had worn to the meeting, shoes, make-up, earrings and hairstyle, on top of her bed without sheltering from the low temperatures.
The balcony door opened, and he entered as if it were his home, taking a sheet that was on the dressing table chair. He settled Rumi, taking off her shoes and removing her accessories, leaving her in a foetal position, clinging to a pillow.
‘Why are you doing that?’ he asked from the glass door, arms crossed, watching the girl being covered up.
‘She'll be cold, her friends are busy,’ she replied, kissing Rumi on the cheek. ‘Wouldn't you do the same for Mira?’
‘Yes, but don't sneak in like a thief or change Gwi-Ma's plans,’ he rolled his eyes. ‘You're putting her in danger, Jinu.’
‘No. I'm protecting her, Romance,’ he said seriously, moving away from Rumi. ‘Even though she's hurting herself because of who she is.’
‘Hm. Just like you,’ he commented.
Jinu rolled his eyes and left Rumi's room with Romance. Derpy and Sussie were waiting for him on the balcony.
‘What did you say her name was?’ Romance asked. Jinu frowned.
‘It doesn't matter.’
The four of them disappeared from the balcony. Rumi felt something warm and slept peacefully after weeks of busy activities.

Zoey was always the first to wake up, even if she didn't show it. Today was no different. She had fallen asleep on the sofa next to Mira and a pile of empty food bags. It was her first day of vacation.
‘Girls! Sorry to bother you, but the fans are excited about this “supposed” collaboration,’ said Bobby, with his mobile phone in his hand as he passed on the fans' comments.
Zoey blinked a few times before getting up from the sofa. She fell to the floor in one step. She let out a groan as she fell. Bobby approached, seeing Zoey and Mira, smaller than normal.
‘What happened to you?’ he asked, pretending not to be scared. Zoey started crying because of the fall. ‘No! No, Zoey!’
He took her in his arms, Zoey continued crying, waking Mira up with her cries.
‘Mira! You too!’ Bobby exclaimed. Mira yawned and looked at her manager. ‘What happened to you two?’
Mira shrugged her shoulders, still in shock. She looked small, just like Zoey.
Bobby put Zoey on the sofa. The little girl continued to cry from the blow to her leg.
‘Okay... This must be my mind playing tricks on me,’ said Bobby, pacing back and forth. ‘You're not girls, you're not small, this must be the stress we've accumulated over the months. You're not girls!’
‘Why are you screaming?’ asked Rumi, covered with a blanket.
‘Rumi, you too!’ Bobby exclaimed before fainting.
The Huntrix looked at each other, then at Bobby, who had just fainted. Rumi looked at the girls and frowned when she saw that Mira was taller than her. Zoey pouted and tapped Bobby on the cheek.
‘Well... we'd better get dressed before anyone else arrives,’ said Rumi, her voice softer and a little lower than normal.
‘We don't have any clothes... Why are you talking so calmly?!’ Mira exclaimed nervously, grabbing Rumi's shoulders and shaking her. ‘We're girls now! How are we going to kill the demons now? We're lost! The golden honmoon is lost without us!’
‘Bobby is dead!’ Zoey cried.
Rumi looked at them both. ‘Where's Celine?’ she wondered as she was shaken. Mira was screaming, Zoey was crying, and she was just acting as if it were the most normal thing in the world to be little again.
Mira let go of her to take Zoey in her arms and pull her away from Bobby.
‘Bobby!’ Zoey cried.
‘Of course not, Zoey!’ Mira shouted, making Zoey cry a little more. ‘Zoey!’
Both girls were shouting at each other. Zoey was wearing a robe that fit her, just like Mira. Under the blanket, Rumi was wearing only her top, which was too big for her. Suddenly, Bobby looked at his phone and saw a message from the SajaBoys' manager.
"Hello, the boys
will be here in five
minutes at the Huntrix
building."
‘Girls!’ exclaimed Rumi, now separating Mira from Zoey. With Bobby's mobile phone in her hands.
‘What?!’ shouted Mira with a frown, letting go of Zoey, who now hugged Rumi, crying.
‘The Sajas will be here in five minutes!’ she said quickly, handing the phone to Mira and picking up Zoey. ‘Stop complaining! You have to wake Bobby up, I'll take care of Zoey.’
Rumi didn't wait for an answer. She ran to Zoey's room, and Mira threw the phone down to go to the kitchen. She may have been taller than the girls, but she couldn't reach the sink, so she grabbed a chair to climb up with an empty glass. She turned on the tap and turned it off to get off the chair and go over to Bobby.
She splashed water on his face, and Bobby woke up, swallowing some of the water Mira had thrown on him.
‘Mira?’ The little girl showed her her phone, the message from the SajaBoys' manager. ‘It's not much time!’
She got up quickly, took the phone and looked at little Mira.
‘You? How did you turn into girls?’ Mira shrugged. ‘Well... how are we going to do the collaboration now?’
Rumi appeared with Zoey on her back. Both were dressed and had messy hair.
‘You look terrible,’ Mira commented.
‘Rumi!’ She took her in her arms, staring at her, and sighed when she realised it was the Rumi she knew. ‘How are you going to fix this?’
‘Call Celine,’ she replied quickly. ‘She'll know how to fix this.’
Bobby stepped up and put Rumi down on the floor. Zoey was jumping around looking for food. Mira had disappeared but returned with a change of clothes and her hair neatly done, unlike the others.
‘Okay, I'm going to cancel the collaboration. If they don't arrive now.’
The lift opened, and Zoey stood behind Bobby, as did Mira. Rumi stood frozen.
Bobby took Rumi and sat her on the sofa.
‘Why are they girls?’ asked the SajaBoys as they stepped out of the lift.
