Summary
John breathed softly next to him, laying on his side while Smii7y laid on his back with his left arm on his own forehead.
He was wide awake, though he knew he had to sleep. He just couldn't though, the days leading up to John’s arrival at the airport and he stayed up until the earliest hours of morning. He wouldn't be consistent about it either.
He internally screamed as he wanted to sleep and cuddle John while he slept but it felt uncomfortable if he were awake while John wasn't. He would probably be staring at John as his brain wouldn't let him drift to sleep. Maybe John wouldn't mind, but he couldn't just stare at him as he slept.
