Summary
I love "Andor." I refuse, however, to look at it through rose-colored glasses. The second season of "Andor" had nine great episodes that built toward something. Then came the final block and the episodes only truly make sense if one completely rewrote Major Partagaz and Dedra Meero. It's like, after Syril Karn was gone from the story, the writers had no idea what to do with Dedra Meero and they kind of shat the bed on making things make sense for her on a character level (much like with Bix - who the fuck goes back to the place they know the Empire is, where they know Imperial rape threats are real?!).
So, this morning, I woke up inspired because I saw exactly how they did Meero's character dirty... and how I would fix it!There are three chapters to this work, which provide a "deleted scene," then two alternate scenes from episodes of "Andor" from the second season of the show. For more specifics, somewhat spoilery, see the notes at the end for a little reading guide. I highly recommend reading each note only right before each corresponding chapter. Enjoy!
