Ron’s evolving from taunts to actual, concrete plans to follow Malfoy home and beat him up, and even though Harry knows that he’s not serious, in that moment he hates Ron as much as he’s ever hated anyone.

I'd say this is one of the angstier fics I've podded, but I find it quite beautiful even though it is, as the title indicates, a rather sad one.
