"I knew you'd turn out okay."
Eclipse looked around, turning away from watching Charlie and his the other kids from playing. He tried to find where the voice came from, who said that, but... No one was there.
Though the voice sounded oddly familiar. Like someone he used to know.
"I knew you'd be a good person. Turn out to be a great dad, to care for others."
"What..?"
Eclipse whispered, turning around again, though the kids were still playing with each other.
"Eclipse."
The second that word was spoken, he knew exactly who it was.
"Puppet..?"
Tears started to fall down his face, trying to find the face to the voice,
"Puppet!"
"You are an amazing person and I'm glad I've got to be there during your journy."
"No! Wait!"
Puppet's voice started to fade, and Eclipse knew, that was the last time he would be able to hear from her. He fell to the floor, tears flowing down his face like a waterfall. He called out one more time, hoping for something.
Silence.
