    Summary

"If memory serves, queens aren't born from just any star, but a star that a child has wished upon. Maybe dream-talent magic lives on in you—in all governing talents."

Clarion is not a dream-talent fairy. That much is evident from her inability to weave a formidable barrier together and the days battling nightmares with golden starlight.

That’s why, when she begins having dreams of Milori, she doesn’t believe they are real. But when Milori warns her in a dream of an incoming attack, she believes the dreams might be more than they seem. And when she begins receiving odd correspondence from him, then maybe, just maybe, she holds the latent dream-talent inside her.

(Otherwise known as my unofficial sequel to Wings of Starlight and prequel to the Secret of the Wings because I refuse to have Clarion live centuries without Milori.)
