Summary
Years after the war, Hermione Granger returns to Hogwarts as the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, determined to prove that the so-called curse on the DADA position is nothing more than superstition. But when strange magical disturbances start occurring within the castle, she realizes that some things refuse to stay buried.
To make matters worse, Draco Malfoy—now the Potions Master—is as infuriating as ever, mocking her at every turn and delighting in pointing out that McGonagall clearly valued his life more than hers, among other things.
