Dean did not like Gabriel being back, he didn't trust him further than he could throw him. If Gabe were a human, Dean would have no problem with picking up that scrawny thing and tossing him across a football field. Gabe wasn't, though. He was an archangel, and heavier than a brick wall.
Dean didn't like Gabe joining them on hunts. It was meant to be Dean, Sam, and Cas, and four was a fucking crowd. Dean didn't like Gabe's lame jokes or how he did that freaky thing when he snapped his fingers and made things just appear.
What Dean hated the most was how much of an interest the archangel had taken in Sam.
Dean had seen the way Gabe's eyes lingered on Sammy. Saw the hungry look in the archangel’s eyes whenever looked at Sam. Dean tried to warn Sam and Cas, but Sam didn't take him seriously. Sam was so happy to have Gabe back, for whatever reason, he couldn't see the danger right in front of him. Cas, well, of course, Cas didn't think Gabriel was a threat, Gabe was his brother.
No one wanted to help Dean find a way to lock Gabe away forever before the archangel had his way with Sammy.
'Cause when Gabe decided he would give in to his temptations, there was nothing anyone could do to stop him.
Dean had refused to let his brother out of his sight, because the moment Sam was alone, Gabe would strike. Dean knew he would, so he glued himself to Sammy's side. Which not only made hunting difficult, but it was killing Dean's love life. He and Cas hadn't had a moment alone since Gabriel showed up and it was driving Dean crazy.
Dean wanted some alone time with his angel, but he needed to protect his brother.
There was only one thing Dean could do and as much as he hated it, he didn't have a choice.
Dean would have to use Sammy as bait.
Dean waited for the perfect moment, when they were on a hunt, just the three of them. They had booked a motel and Gabe still wasn't around. This was the opening Dean had been waiting for, he had to take it.
"I don't know about you guys, but I could go for some pie. Sammy, you want anything from the store?"
Sam looked at him and frowned. "We just got here."
"I'm hungry."
Sam's frown deepened. "We just ate on the way here."
"I'm hungry for pie, Sam."
Sam shrugged and dropped his duffle bag on the bed. "I'm good."
"Cool!" Dean clapped his hands together. "Cas, come with?"
Cas gave Dean a look, he knew how paranoid Dean had been, but regardless, the angel nodded. Cas followed him to the Impala, but once in, Dean made no move to start her up. He just glared at the window, waiting.
"Dean? What's going on?" Cas asked.
"I want you to tell me when Gabe shows his feathery ass," Dean answered. Oooh, he would catch the bastard in the act.
"How are you so sure he’ll appear anytime soon?"
"He has that look."
Cas tilted his head. "That… Look?"
"Yes!" Dean turned and looked Cas in the eyes. "I know that look 'cause it's the same look I give you every time I think of you naked."
"Oh." Cas replied with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"So now you get it? We gotta protect Sammy. Leave him alone with Gabe for just three minutes and then we go in and save his ass, literally."
"Maybe Sam thinks of Gabe naked too," Cas suggested and Dean gagged.
"No! Dude, that's my baby brother!"
"He still has sexual desires," Cas said and as much as Dean loved him, if the angel didn't shut up, Dean would puke.
"Look, I want my brother to get laid. Just not with demons and of his free will. I don’t want him to be molested by your brother!" Dean spat and Cas rolled his eyes.
"My brother would never do such a thing."
"Dude, he killed me! Like a billion times!"
Cas sighed. "It was only over a hundred."
Dean gasped, hurt flashing in his eyes. "He killed me!"
"While I don't agree with Gabriel's… Tactics… He was trying to prove a point to Sam. He wanted to show Sam if he couldn't let you go, he'd end up on a dark path. And he did, with Ruby. If he had just waited for me to get you—"
"It took you four months!" Dean growled. "That’s forty years in Hell!"
"I would have come sooner if you agreed to shed blood sooner," Cas simply answered.
"You know what?" Dean huffed, turning away from Cas with his arms crossed. "This isn't about the past. This is about making sure your brother doesn't force himself on my—"
"Gabriel is here."
Dean was out of the Impala and across the pavement. He turned around to Cas, holding his finger to his lips. Cas nodded and they quietly approached the motel door. They pressed their ear to it and Dean's heart was already beating in his chest, but what he heard next made his stomach drop.
"G-Gabe no! It's too big!" Sam cried and all god! He sounded so terrified!
"Just put it in your mouth, Sam!" Gabe demanded and hell no! Dean was putting an end to this now!
Dean kicked the door open, ready to gank an archangel or die trying. Sam and Gabriel were frozen in place, staring at Dean like he had four heads. Dean stood there, with his mouth hung open. Gabriel didn't have his brother forced to his knees, the archangel had a lollipop the size of a baby's head inches away from Sam's lips.
"Dean?! What the hell?!" Sam shouted, but Dean didn't know what to say.
"Sup Dean?" Gabe asked with a stupid smirk on his face before he shoved the lollipop into his mouth.
"I…"
"Dean and I were doing a stakeout. Dean thought Gabriel would force you to perform sex acts but I thought you'd perform them willingly," Cas answered, that traitor.
Sam sighed, shaking his head. "Dean, Gabe is on our side. I've been alone with him serval times! Don't you think if Gabe was gonna do something to me, he would have already done it?"
Gabe pulled out the lollipop, making a loud plop sound. "Don't worry Dean-O, I don't wanna deflower your precious brother."
Dean threw his hands in the air. "You know what? I'm done!" Dean grabbed Cas's hand and tugged. "Let's get out of here!"
Dean didn't like to be wrong, but he could admit it. Gabe was just fucking with him 'cause he was annoying. Dean wouldn't fall for it anymore, now, he and Cas were going to have some much-needed alone time.

"They’re gone?" Sam asked.
"Yup!" Gabe answered, smirking like the dog who caught the car.
Sam rolled his eyes. "Can't we just tell them?"
"Nooooooot yet, I'm still having fun with Dean-O," Gabe answered, bouncing on his feet.
Sam glared at his boyfriend. "God, you're so annoying! You're lucky I love you!"
"Sooooo, that means you do want to lick my lollipop?" Gabe asked, wiggling his eyebrows.
Sam rolled his eyes, this was the angel he fell in love with. Sam grabbed Gabe by the shirt and pulled him close, crashing their lips together.
