   Summary

   1,000 years after the Age of Jade Mountain, the ten tribes of Pyrrhia and Pantala have not known peace with each other for years. Every tribe keeps mostly to themselves, and everyone fears the RainWings, who launch unpredictable and devastating attacks on the other tribe.

   The SkyWing Princess Canary hopes to bring about an age of peace between the tribes, where they can all work together as they used to in the ancient past. Unfortunately, she isn't quite sure how exactly to bring about that peace, and no other SkyWing seems quite as open to the idea of learning to accept the other tribes. Canary is beyond excited when she meets Verbena, an injured and disgraced RainWing warrior, who she sees as the first step to uniting the tribes.
