Summary
Kyrat. Place of her birth, her twin sister’s, her mother’s. The homeland of numerous generations of Ghales, condensed down into these two sisters and an urn filled with ashes. She closes her eyes and clutches the urn. She thinks that maybe some homes are better when you leave them and never come back.
Laxmi and Roma travel to Kyrat with their mother's ashes. They stay longer than expected. Kyrat must contend with a Ghale at the forefront of the rebellion - and a Ghale sitting in the palace, learning from the king.
