   “Please” Achilles begs me through tears one night “I cannot bear it anymore.”
   His tears are enough to threaten my own to start falling but I would not let them, not yet.
   “What would you have us do?” I ask him, putting my hand on his, trying to calm him from his suffering.
   “Let us leave.”
   “They will hunt us down Achilles!”
   “Then let them hunt us down.” He says desperately.

   This is an antiwar AU where Achilles and Patroclus are soldiers during the time of the Peloponnesian war and are forced to fight or they will be killed.
