Summary
After being branded with the Dark Mark on his sixteenth birthday, Draco Malfoy is sent by Narcissa to a small Muggle town in France to experience one last "normal" summer before his dark mission begins. Disguised as a wizard named "Drake," he unexpectedly runs into Hermione Granger, who is spending a final, unbeknownst to them, summer holiday with her parents. Without the weight of their past or Draco's inherited prejudices, they explore the possibility of friendship and fall in love.
