   Summary

   The Blood Rite has passed. Briallyn is dead. It's quiet, too quiet for Azriel, whose increasing loneliness is compounded by the fact that it seems his family is moving on with their lives without him. He had no mate, and Rhys had made it abundantly clear that Elain was off the table. No one wanted him. How long would it be before his brothers no longer needed him at all?

   Eris really needed to kill his father and yet no matter what he had told the illustrious Night Court, he had no plan for it. Killing a high lord was extremely difficult, after all. But his current situation was untenable, especially as Beron started looking beyond the bounds of his own court. How many more lies could Eris balance before his life came crashing down around him?
