Prompt by @unityrain24 on tumblr/ao3 - 'Loki committing self harm. I've read a lot of fics that include Loki committing self-harm, but they always end prematurely with someone walking in or the plot moving on to other things, or they don't describe it in much detail or only have Loki very mild forms of self harm or whatnot, but i just really want a fic that the focus is just on Loki committing self harm. and being mentally ill. Self-hatred.'

Loki liked to spend time on the rooftop of the tower. Nobody really noticed his absence, and he liked it that way, because he wasn't sure what he would do if someone found out he'd spend hours up there, losing himself to his thoughts and his past.
He holds this secret close, never having told anyone of his 'coping mechanisms' over his many years. And he plans to keep it that way. Besides, who would care that the god of mischief was taking his thoughts out on himself? Nobody had cared in the past. Why would anything change now?
