- you've known something is wrong with your situation your whole life. mostly because your caregiver seems to hate you and have literally never told you anything about anything. also they are gaslighting you about magic (you know its real you can feel it in your bones)
- you escape the tower

- you are walking in the woods outside your mother's (now just yours) cottage in france
- did i mention you were depressed?
- you spot a suspicious lump on the ground
- holy shit that lump is a boy. who is unconscious. with two broken legs

- you take the boy back to heal him, because of course you do, he looks your age

- ...and the closer you look you realize he's covered in scrapes. and bruises. and you can see his veins. and ribs.

- hear the boy (your son's age) hasn't been taught basic knowledge that even pre-hogwarts students should know

- you allow the boy to stay
- your son starts teaching the boy everything he knows, which is a lot, because your son is perhaps the most gifted child in the world
- the boy turns out to be a wizard
- your son is... enthusiastic, about finally having a friend to share everything with
- you have not seen your son so happy in a long, long time
- you let the boy stay, ...perhaps with a touch of gratefulness (that you will never admit to anyone)
- be invited to visit your son and his new best friend
- arrive at the cottage
- your son lights up, delighted to introduce his two most favorite people in the world
- ...you come face to face with a miniature harry potter

- get a call from draco malfoy of all people
- he says he's found a lead on your missing son
- you wouldn't trust malfoy as far as you can throw him, but you know he'd never lie about family matters (not after what's happend to his own)

- man who looks almost exactly like you crushes you in a hug and says he's your father

- man who is your father (?) says your family has been searching for you for years

- man who is your father wants to take you away from scorpius
- scorpius looks at you with that very sad look in his eye, the one he had a lot in the first few days you two met, as if he was a ghost watching the world fade away from behind a curtain

- you refuse, you throw a tantrum so hard it shake's the cottages wall
- you feel bad about potentially damaging the cottage (you really really like it), but you see a spark of hope in scorpius's eye, and it is enough to make you fight harder (albeit, with less accidently magic)
- scorpius's father intervenes
- your father promises to let you visit scorpius when ever you like
- it is not enough, you do not know how to live without scorpius anymore, he is your everything, and you want to be his
- you say you'll only go anywhere scorpius goes
- your dad caves
- scorpius cries (but good tears, he is happy, delighted and so relieved he nearly collapses in his chair)

- adapted into wizarding society once and for all
- manage to pass your O.W.L.s and then your N.E.W.T.s after lots of studying (spearheaded by scorpius)
- be with your family
- be with scorpius, who is also your family
- be in love with scorpius
- knows that he loves you back
