    Anthony’s hand stills on Ian’s thigh. “Is it still bothering you?”

    Anthony knows why it’s on Ian’s mind. Ian isn’t built like other guys they know. Ian has a secret, one that Anthony is privy to, one that he was born with. The simplest way that Anthony understands it is that Ian was born with an extra chromosome or something, a gene, something in his body that went awry before he was born. Whatever the reason, and whatever the long, fancy, scientific name for the condition, it doesn’t really matter.

    All that does matter is that because of the anomalous gene, Ian can get pregnant.
