   Summary

   Magnus was immortal. He was supposed to outlive Alec. Alec was supposed to die before him.

   But instead, Alec was watching uselessly as Magnus took his last breaths.

   Alec’s chest hurt so bad, heart pounding in ferocious agony. Alec’s stomach churned and his chest ached so bad he thought he was dying too.

   He wanted to die too. A life without Magnus was a life he didn’t want to lead.
