   Astarion has a lot of anger and frustration pent up inside his tiny green frog body. Nobody understands what he's saying, because he's just a ribbeting frog to everyone around him. Unable to do much as a frog, he decides to cling to the nearest person who is nice to him (and didn't turn him into a frog): Mayrina. The poor pregnant woman is too whiny for Astarion's tastes, but he warms up to her.
