Download the original version of the game from the internet archive here (147.7MB for mac, 152.8MB for windows/linux) to play offline.
Setup instructions for playing offline:
1. Click on the internet archive link above.
2. Under 'DOWNLOAD OPTIONS' on the right, click 'ZIP', and download either the mac or PC zip file.
3. Unzip the file.
** Note: Your computer may warn you that this file is from an untrusted source when you try to extract it. We swear on Lan Zhan's forehead ribbon that it's safe to extract this file.
4a. Windows version: within the folder 'GusuSim-5.2-pc', there should be an application titled 'GusuSim'; double-click on that to run the game!
4b. Mac version: within the folder 'GusuSim-5.2-pc', 'Contents', 'MacOS', is an application titled 'GusuSim'; double-click on that to run the game!
If this is your first time playing a visual novel like this, you may want to click on 'Help' in the main menu to find some useful hotkeys, and 'Preferences' to adjust text speed/volume/etc. Otherwise just click on 'Start' to begin!
