“Kacchan! I have to help him!” Katsuki went cold all over.
“No! No fucking way!” Katsuki’s hands tightened around Izuku’s shoulders.
“Kacch-“
“No Izuku! I’m not letting you do this!” Katsuki yelled shaking Izuku roughly. Green eyes locked onto Katsuki’s red ones.
And Katsuki knew… He knew that the determination shining in Izuku’s eyes meant that there was no stopping him. Katsuki’s heart plummeted, his eyes starting to sting. Izuku slowly brought his hand up, laying it lightly over Katsuki’s cheek.
“He’ll die Kacchan.” Izuku whispered, his voice begging for Katsuki to understand. And he did! He did understand. And he hated the fact that he did. “I have to do this.”

Izuku had been hiding his quirk his entire life. He Had to, because his life quite literally depended on it.
But secrets could only last so long...Katsuki knew that he needed to keep Izuku's quirk hidden from everyone if he wanted to keep his best friend safe.
But that could prove to be a rather difficult task when the said best friend happened to be a self sacrificing dumbass who would place the life of another ahead of his own every single time...
