Color Splash!

Summary:

Sunny Side Up gets gunged with Color Splash! brand paint for some sort of charity challenge and she did not enjoy it at all. (#9LFW13)

Notes:

Inspired by this gunging video where the woman named Lois had to be gunged with 6 cans of tomatoes as a result of viewers donating a lot of money to fund this challenge. I did my own take but with colorful paint instead. I think I will use Color Splash! brand paint more in future fanworks for wet and messy purposes.

Also, a word of warning, don't try to use tempera paint for sploshing purposes at home because it's gonna dry up in around 30 minutes after application and it would not be pretty at all if it dried up on hair or skin.

Enjoy this messy and colorful Lalaloopsy episode! Sunny did not enjoy this at all, let's hope there's an outdoor shower nearby 43 Times 24 Plus One Studios...

Work Text:

Spot Splatter Splash was hosting some sort of show at 43 Times 24 Plus One Studios, a place that hasn't been shown for a while because the Lalaloopsies are currently out of On-Air Dares to do for the moment. Which does not mean this place can't be used for other stuff, as we're about to see in this very episode. The camera panned to show two bottles of Color Splash brand paint in orange and purple. "Sunny Side Up, our guest for today, is about to get gunged, the thing she fears the most in the world is..." Spot said on the microphone. "Paint! Especially Color Splash brand!" Sunny said through another microphone, completing Spot's sentence. "Everybody knows she hates..." Spot said. "Color Splash paint!" Sunny said to finish Spot's sentence. "So what you need to do to donate $5 is to text Sunny, S-U-N-N-Y, to the number scrolling down here at the bottom of your screen," Spot told the viewers.

"Okay, I just jumped because I touched the bottle," Sunny told Spot. "What did you touch the bottle of?" Spot asked. "Color Splash paint!" Sunny answered. The camera showed four more bottles of Color Splash paint in red, yellow, green and blue. "You see these six quarts of Color Splash brand paint, Sunny is there, she's ready to get dunked, tell us what the scene in the corner of the studio looks like," Spot told Sunny as the camera panned to show the corner of the studio which is coated in plastic and there's a kiddie pool there. "There's a lot of plastic, a kiddie pool, a little yellow stool, and I can't tell you the amount of colorful paint that's in front of me, it's, uh..." Sunny said as she hesitated at that last part.

"Stop talking now, get in the kiddie pool, let's get going, let's get doing this, come on," Spot told Sunny as Sunny got herself into the kiddie pool. "Ohhh, I'm really shaking, um, I don't," Sunny said as she went and sat down on the stool. "This is for charity, right? We're doing this for charity?" Spot asked Sunny. "Oh, no," Sunny thought to herself. She didn't mind the slime and pies before, but this was her first paint sploshing. "We've raised all of the money we need to have all six of these bottles go over you," Spot told Sunny. "Oh no," Sunny said as she was really nervous about her first paint sliming.

"Well, this gets you back for some of the things you did 11 years ago in that fence episode," Spot told Sunny as she started off with the first color, red. "Oh no! Oh no, oh!" Sunny said out loud as she had her hands on her face, really nervous about what is to come. "You need a smell?" Spot asked. "No! No! Just do it, just do it, just do it! Are you gonna do it?" Sunny asked Spot. "Close your eyes," Spot said as Sunny closed her eyes and put her hands over them. Spot dumped the entire bottle of red paint all over Sunny as Sunny screamed out loud. "Oh, this is the worst thing ever!" Sunny said out loud as she screamed. Spot poured orange paint all over Sunny and her denim overalls next. "This is disgusting! This is awful!" Sunny said out loud.

Spot had the next color of Color Splash paint, yellow, ready. "That was just two bottles, here comes bottle number three," Spot said as she was holding up the bottle of yellow Color Splash paint. "Oh really?! Only two?! How many more have I got left?!" Sunny asked out loud, clearly not enjoying paint as much as she did with pies or slime. Spot took a good whiff of the paint. "It really does smell," Spot said as she took a whiff of the yellow paint. "Here we go," Spot said as she held up the yellow paint closer to Sunny. "Where you gonna put it? Where you gonna put it?" Sunny asked. "I don't know yet, let's put it in the front!" Spot answered as she poured the yellow paint right on Sunny's denim outfit and splattered it all over. "It's squishing under my feet!" Sunny said out loud, as her tone showed how much she didn't enjoy paint all over her. All the so far, fire colored paint was pooling down under Sunny's feet as the camera panned down to show that.

"Where should I pour bottle number four? Let's put bottle number four... oh, hello, back!" Spot said as she poured green paint on Sunny's back. Sunny screamed out loud in response, knowing the consistency of sticky paint isn't really her thing. The camera turned to Spot who gave a thumbs up while Sunny was still reacting in a way that shows she did not enjoy it. "Eugh, the smell of paint! Oh, the smell!" Sunny said out loud. "Hello, bottle number five. Bottle number five," Spot said as she was shown holding the bottle of blue Color Splash paint, which is apparently the brand's most popular color which is why there's two of them in a 12 pack of these and one of the other colors. "This is the worst thing! This is the worst thing I have ever done!" Sunny said as Spot was ready to pour blue paint all over Sunny.

"Is it really?" Spot asked as she splattered the blue paint right in Sunny's face, which was covered by her hands so no paint would get in her eyes. "Whoa, you threw it right in my face!" Sunny said out loud as blue paint splattered over Sunny's hand and all over her. Then Spot poured the remainder of the blue paint on Sunny's back as Sunny squirmed around on her stool. Splatters of colorful paint could be seen on the clear plastic behind where Sunny was sitting as pictures of her were taken. Now the colors were looking like a beautiful rainbow puked all over Sunny. "Oh no, oh no, oh, no!" Sunny said out loud as she looked at herself.

"Oh dear, could, uh, could someone just past me the last bottle of paint, please? Last tin? Oh, dear," Sunny asked. "Are you okay?" Peanut Big Top asked Sunny. "No, I'm not okay, I'm far from being okay! You threw the blue paint at my face!" Sunny answered. Spot and Peanut just giggled at that. "You got one left, just hurry up, just hurry up and do it!" Sunny told Spot. "Are you okay?" Spot asked. "No! Just do it, just do it, just do it! That's why you're laughing?" Sunny asked. "For a $5 donation, text Sunny, S-U-N-N-Y," Spot said as she laughed while Sunny gagged a little from seeing all the colorful paint all over her. "Text Sunny please, do it right now! Text it for $5!" Spot told the audience watching as Sunny was still not enjoying herself right now.

"Here comes the last one, you ready?" Spot asked Sunny. "Three, two, one!" Spot and Peanut both counted down. Spot dumped the final bottle of paint, purple, all over Sunny's head and now the rainbow that puked all over Sunny is complete. "Oh no!" Sunny said out loud as she felt that, Pictures of Sunny were taken on Spot and Peanut's phones. "How do you feel?" Spot asked Sunny. "Awful, with all this colorful paint on me. I hope it doesn't dry up too soon," Sunny answered. "How much money did we raise, did we raise a lot?" Sunny asked. "We raised a lot of money," Spot answered. "That's good, that's good, that's good," Sunny said. "Well done, you've raised a lot of money, Sunny's Color Splash challenge, she's been gunged, everybody!" Spot said as she and Peanut both applauded and cheered.
