Enid groaned, feeling around for her phone. She hates waking up in the morning. She finally found her phone and shut off her alarm. Enid sighed and laid there for a moment before getting up.
After getting ready she found Wednesday standing at the door. It became a bit of a routine to walk together in the morning, mostly due to the fact they live together.
"Good morning Wednesday!" Enid waved. Wednesday nodded in return.
"I'm surprised you have energy today. You usually don't the day after a full moon."
"Usually yeah, but I feel really refreshed today, I'm not sure why." Enid shrugged with a smile. Wednesday hummed and they began walking to the cafeteria for breakfast.
Right as they were passing the Quad. A ball suddenly flew right past them and was heading straight for a window. The glass shattered and went everywhere. Everyone who saw audibly winced.
"Nice throw dickhead!" A boy said while simultaneously putting another boy into a headlock. Likely the one who broke the window. The one in the headlock tried to get out of it but to no avail.
Enid sighed. "Boys." Wednesday walked up to the ball inspecting it. "Why is this not made of metal?" Wednesday looked weirdly disappointed. Enid blinked.
"Uh." Enid couldn't think of anything else to say. Wednesday clicked her tongue, before walking off towards the cafeteria. Enid rushed to catch up to her.
While the two were waiting peacefully in line, two people started arguing.
"God Dylan, why are you such a dick all the time!" A girl was yelling at her boyfriend, and the boy was looking at her with quiet embarrassment.
"Why are you yelling at me? It's seven in the morning, calm down." Dylan took a bite of his sandwich. Seemingly not phased by this at all.
"Calm down," The girl laughed, "You want me to calm down?!" The girl grabbed her drink, and promptly poured it on him.
Dylan gasped. Sitting there for a second before he stood, and got up all in the girl's face. "What the fuck was that for?! I just wanted to have a nice breakfast and you had to go and ruin it!"
"I'm breaking up with you! You're not a good person, and I'm tired of putting up with it!" The girl started walking away but Dylan grabbed her wrist.
"Wait Nevaha, hold on-" Nevaha ripped her arm out of his grip, and ran. Dylan started running after her, but someone grabbed him, effectively stopping him.
Enid looked at Wednesday and saw that she had this little evil grin on her face. She looked away quickly, not wanting Wednesday to see her love-struck smile
"What is going on today?" Enid shook her head.
"I'm not entirely sure, but this misery is quite wonderful." Enid laughed.
"I knew you were going to say that." Wednesday gave Enid an amused look before grabbing her food.
Enid was in her last period of the day, listening to the teacher drone on about the logistics of potion making when she saw Yoko out of the corner of her eye messing with her cauldron. She gave Yoko a questioning look but all Yoko did was give her a wink.
A few minutes pass by, the teacher somehow not noticing Yoko, and Enid taking peaks to see if she can figure out what the other girl was doing.
"Oh shit," Yoko whispered before whatever she was making exploded liquid everywhere. The entire room started to flood, the liquid from Yoko's cauldron spewing out like a fire hydrant. The teacher tried and failed to stop it but all he could do was grab a bucket and start throwing the liquid out the window.
"Students! Grab anything that can hold liquid and throw it out. And anyone with magical abilities see if you can stop the water from seeping anywhere else." The students scrambled around, helping the teacher in all the ways they could.
Eventually, the liquid stopped shooting out of Yoko's cauldron, allowing everyone to calm down a little. A gruesome twenty minutes of shoveling later, most of the liquid was gone. And everyone sighed in relief.
After that whole fiasco, Yoko got lunch detention for the next two weeks, and potions class was canceled for the day.
As soon as Enid walked into her room, she immediately walked up to her bed and flopped down onto it. "God. Why was today so tiring? I'm so glad it's Friday."
Wednesday walked to her desk and sat down. She set up her typewriter and began to write, the loud clicks from her typewriter filled the room.
Enid slowly started falling asleep to the sound, and before she knew it she passed out.

Enid groaned, trying to reach for her phone to turn off her alarm. She must have forgotten to turn it off yesterday. She touched her phone and promptly shut off her alarm. She closed her eyes, letting sleep come to her once more.
Then all of a sudden someone was shaking her awake. "Enid. Get up, I know you don't like to miss breakfast on a school day, and I don't want to deal with you angry throughout the day." Wednesday said, shaking Enid even harder than before.
Enid yawned, slapping Wednesday's hands away from her. "It's Saturday, I want to sleep in."
"It's Friday." Wednesday deadpanned. Enid snapped out of her sleepy daze. "Wait what?"
Enid grabbed her phone, looking at the date and yup, it was indeed Friday. Enid rushed out of her bed and to the shower.
Wednesday was still waiting at the door for Enid when she walked out. Enid ran up to her. "I'm sorry, I genuinely thought it was Saturday."
Wednesday shrugged. "The full moon was yesterday." Enid furrowed her brows. Wasn't the full moon the other day? Wednesday started walking out the door, Enid followed the girl absently, lost in her thoughts.
Suddenly, her shoulder's were grabbed quite harshly and was pulled back, almost making her tip over. "What was-"
A ball flew right past them, right where Enid was about to walk. Glass shattered everywhere. Everyone who saw winced.
"Nice throw dickhead!" A boy said while simultaneously putting another boy in a headlock. Likely the one who broke the window. The boy in the headlock tried to get out but to no avail.
This was all too familiar to yesterday. Enid was starting to freak out a little. Wednesday walked up to the ball. "Why is this not made of metal?" Wednesday looked disappointed. Then she clicked her tongue and began to walk to the cafeteria. Enid followed behind her, dazed.
The two were waiting in line when someone started yelling.
"God Dylan, why are you such a dick all the time!" Nevaha was yelling at her ex-boyfriend again, but why was she yelling at him, didn't they break up?
"Why are you yelling at me? It's seven in the morning, calm down." Dylan took a bite of his sandwich. Seemingly not phased by this at all.
"Calm down," Nevaha laughed, "You want me to calm down?!" Nevaha grabbed her drink and promptly poured it on him.
Dylan gasped. Sitting there for a second before he stood, and got up all in Nevaha's face. "What the fuck was that for?! I just wanted to have a nice breakfast and you had to go and ruin it!"
"I'm breaking up with you! You're not a good person, and I'm tired of putting up with it!" Nevaha started walking away but Dylan grabbed her wrist.
"Wait Nevaha, hold on-" Nevaha ripped her arm out of his grip, and ran. Dylan started running after her, but someone grabbed him, effectively stopping him.
What sort of deja vu shit is going on? Did Enid somehow dream all of this?
"All this misery, how wonderful," Wednesday said with an evil little grin. Enid gaped at Wednesday. The shorter girl gave Enid a weird look before grabbing her food.
Enid's leg wouldn't stop bouncing. If she was correct, Yoko would soon start making her weird concoction that causes an entire flood.
Biting her pencil she looked at Yoko and there she was, secretly making her potion. Enid let out a shaky breath. Was she going insane? She doesn't even know anymore.
"Oh shit," Yoko whispered before her potion exploded liquid everywhere.
Enid sat there watching the chaos happen around her. Wednesday flicked her forehead.
"Ow!" Enid rubbed at her forehead and pouted.
"Help the teacher." Wednesday crossed her arms, with an eyebrow raised. Enid got up and swam towards a bucket. Then looked behind her to see Wednesday just looking at the chaos.
"Are you going to help?"
"No."
Enid got to work, she knew that Wednesday was content to just watch so she didn't fight her.
Eventually, the liquid was at foot level. And everyone sighed in relief. Enid watched as Yoko got her two-week lunch detention and walked to her room, with Wednesday right behind her.
As soon as she walked into her room she flopped on her bed. Today's been really weird, and she was exhausted. So she closed her eyes, Wednesday's typewriter becoming a lullaby.

Enid woke up in a cold sweat.
Putting a hand up to her chest, she tried to calm herself down. Breathe in, breathe out. Repeat.
When she calmed down a little she grabbed her phone and turned off her alarm.
Friday.
It was Friday. Again.
Well, shit. She's been Groundhog Day'd. Enid groaned, why did it have to happen on a weekday and not a weekend?
She had to tell Wednesday. Maybe she'd be able to help her.
When she finished getting ready. Wednesday stood by the door. Enid immediately walked up to the girl. "Wednesday. I think I'm stuck in a time loop." Enid smiled nervously. Wednesday blinked.
"What."
Enid started pacing. "No, I know I'm in a time loop. I've lived the same Friday like twice already and I can prove it to you I swear."
"Enid calm down." Wednesday crossed her arms.
"How can I calm down?! Why did I have to be Groundhog day'd? This is the worst." Enid squatted down and buried her face in her hands.
"What is 'Groundhog Day' and what does it have to do with anything?"
Enid looked up at Wednesday in shock. "You've never seen Groundhog Day?!"
Wednesday gave her a look. "Oh. Right. I forget that you don't associate yourself with 'soul-sucking technology'." Enid gave air quotes at soul-sucking technology.
"Correct. But you didn't answer my question."
Enid got up from the floor and walked to the door. "It's a movie where a guy is stuck in a time loop on Groundhog Day. It basically created an entire culture."
"How riveting." Wednesday deadpanned.
They were about to walk up to the Quad when Enid spoke. "Watch, there's going to be a ball that flies past us and shatters a window, and two boys and going to get into a scuffle about it." As soon as she said that, a ball flew by and shattered a window.
"Nice throw dickhead!" Wednesday watched as Enid mouthed the words.
"If I do believe you, how is my belief supposed to help you?" Enid chuckled. "You'd help me figure out how to get out of the loop obvi."
When they arrived at the caffatiera, Enid quickly found the couple that was about to break up. "You see that couple right there." Enid pointed at them. "They're going to start fighting, the girl pours her drink on the boy, then breaks up with him."
Wednesday watched as what Enid said was going to happen, happened exactly as she had told. Wednesday looked at Enid for a moment. "Okay." She nodded her head.
"What?"
"I will look into it." Wednesday grabbed her food.
Enid's tense shoulders relaxed a little. "You will?"
"Yes. When class is over, I will let you know what to say so I'll believe you immediately." Wednesday began walking away. Enid made a fist triumphantly, then quickly grabbed her food.
"Wednesday," Enid whispered, poking at Wednesday's shoulder.
The raven turned her head to let Enid know that she was listening. "Yoko's making a potion that causes the room to flood." Wednesday raised an eyebrow and glanced over to Yoko, who was currently making a potion. Wednesday hummed.
Enid heard weird bubbling coming from the pot, and it seemed Yoko did too.
"Oh shit," Yoko whispered. Then her cauldron exploded, making liquid go everywhere.
Wednesday looked at Enid. And Enid just gave her an 'I told you so' smile.
Enid then got to work shoveling, while Wednesday stayed back and watched Enid with interest.
With the school day officaly ending early thanks to Yoko, the girls walked to the dorm. And as soon as they walked in, they got to work. Wednesday making sure that Enid knew exactly what to say when she reset. And Enid researching all she can on time loops online.
The two girls eventually became too exhausted to work anymore so they both bid each other a goodnight. Terrible dreams on Wednesday's side.
Enid flopped down onto her bed. She hoped that she'd be out of this time-loop soon.

Enid slowly opened her eyes. And stared at the ceiling for a moment. Red Velvet's voices becoming background noise.
"Enid. Shut that off before I throw it, and you, out the window." Wednesday's sleep-filled voice trailed in. Giving Enid simultaneously a slight heart attack, and butterflies from her voice.
"Sorry, sorry." Enid grabbed her phone and shut off her alarm. The room filled with silence. Enid got up to get ready.
She repeated the words, "Wednesday, I'm stuck in a time loop. Like the book called, Strange Life of Ivan Osockin. Yes, I know what the book is called because you told me, and no, I've never read it." She got out of the shower, and hoped that it would be enough.
She spotted Wednesday waiting for her at the door. Enid practically skipped over to the shorter girl. "Wednesday, I'm stuck in a time loop. Like the book called, Strange Life of Ivan Osokin. Yes, I know what the book is called because you told me, and no, I've never read it." Wednesday stood there for a moment, eyeing Enid with an unreadable look in her eyes.
Wednesday nodded. "I see." Enid's eyes widened, she wasn't expecting that to work.
Enid let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. "Really? Oh thank God, you said that it would work for sure, but I had my doubts."
"You know better than to doubt me, Enid." Wednesday did that weird smug head tilt with a smile thing that she likes to do, and Enid was entranced by it.
Enid smiled all dopey like. "Yes. Yes, I know." They stood there for a moment, just looking into each other eyes. Wednesday cleared her throat and looked away. Her ears slightly red.
"Well, I'm going to spend my time today researching in the library to see if I can find anything on Timeloops." Wednesday started walking away. Enid stared at her retreating figure with a shy smile.
It's been a few days since then. And they haven't found much. Enid decided that she needed a break. So she skipped school and went into town. She just needed to be away for a while.
She started to explore. Finding shortcuts, and places she didn't even know existed. It was freeing. She was in the middle of texting Yoko when she rammed into someone.
"Oh! I'm sorry I- Wednesday?" Enid blinked.
"Where have you been?" Wednesday asked. Her tone was accusatory.
And oh. Shit. She forgot to tell Wednesday she wasn't going to be at school today.
"I've been exploring the town, finding secrets, you know, the usual." Enid grimaced. She was such an idiot. Wednesday simply stared at her.
Enid sighed. "Okay, okay I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you, but I just needed a break. This time-loop shit was starting to be too much." Enid fiddled with her phone while looking anywhere but Wednesday.
Wednesday raised a brow. "Time-loop?"
"Oh. I guess I forgot to mention that to you as well." Enid went off on her spiel. Filling Wednesday in on some other details as well.
"I see." Wednesday absently started tapping her finger. "I can understand why you needed a break."
Enid smiled. "Thank you."
"But, you should have a least told me what was going on."
Enid frowned. "You don't need to know what's going on with me all the time."
Wednesday closed her eyes and breathed out. "Yes, but I-" Wednesday audibly clenched her jaw. Her teeth clacked with the force.
Enid tilted her head in concern. "What?" Wednesday looked away from Enid.
"Nothing." Enid bit her cheek. The urge to prod for an answer bubbled up, but Enid held back. She knew Wednesday wouldn't tell her if she wasn't ready.
"Well, now that you're here I might as well show you the things I've found." Wednesday hummed. Enid smiled and walked.
Enid showed Wednesday the secret parts of Jerico that she didn't know about, and Wednesday looked actually surprised, and proud at some of her findings. Eventually, the girls were sitting down at a bench, looking at the sunset.
"You know," Enid said, swinging her feet. "Even if you won't remember this, I feel like this is one of the days I'll remember the most."
"Why?"
"I'm, not sure," Enid paused, eyeing Wednesday for a moment before looking back at the sky, "Maybe it's because you're here with me."
Wednesday looked at Enid in surprise. And if Enid was looking at Wednesday, she would've seen the slight blush and the loving look in Wednesday's eyes.
Wednesday looked at Enid's hand on the bench. Contemplating. She began moving her pinky towards Enid's, interlocking them.
Enid whipped her head in Wednesday's direction, but Wednesday was already looking at the sunset.

Enid slapped at her desk, trying to find her phone to turn off her alarm. When the alarm was off Enid sighed. She just wanted it to be Saturday already.
She wasn't even sure how long she'd been stuck for. Two or three months? Her track of time dwindled with each reset.
Enid decided to stay in bed. Wednesday tried to make her get up, but she explained why. Wednesday understood and left her alone. She rotted in bed for who knows how long. Her mind was so jumbled with memories that no one would remember. It was almost enough to make her go through a psychotic break.
Enid looked at Wednesday's desk. Seeing the crystal ball that allows her to speak to her family. Maybe she could call Wednesday's family to see if they have any answers.
Enid suddenly shot up.
She could call Wednesday's family.
Why didn't she think of this sooner? Enid scrambled to get out of her bed. Falling to the floor in a heap of blankets. Untangling herself she ran to Wednesday's desk and sat down staring at the crystal ball trying to figure out how to use it. She reached out and poked it. The ball became foggy, and Enid started to panic a little. But then Mortica's face appeared.
"My darling raven how nice- oh Enid! How wonderful to see you! May I ask why you're calling?"
"I have a question." Enid fiddled with her fingers.
"Yes of course. Go on ahead."
Enid stayed silent for a moment. "So I'm stuck in a time-loop of sorts. And well, I was wondering if you know how to get out of one?" Enid's eyes were hopeful.
Morticia gasped. "Did I hear something about Time-loops?" Gomez popped into frame, a gigantic smile on his face.
"Yes, dear." Enid furrowed her brows.
"It's quite alright dear wolf!" Gomez said. Morticia nodded.
"Time-loops are to be considered an Addams trait."
"But I'm not an Addams," Enid said.
"No, you're not. However," Mortica paused. "It can happen to an Addams lover."
"Lover?!" Enid's face heated up. "But Wednesday and I aren't together!"
"Yet." Gomez cheekily commented. Enid's brain stopped working.
"Our dearest daughter has fallen to the curse! Mi Amor we must celebrate this glorious day!" Gomez practically jumped out of his seat.
"Calm down darling, Enid is clearly in shock." Morticia reached out her hand and placed it on Gomez's arm.
"Oh right, yes."
Enid snapped out of her shock. "Wait so how do I break it?"
Morticia chuckled. "That my dear you have to figure out yourself, but I'll give you a hint." Morticia leaned in slightly, Enid copied her. "You're relationship with Wednesday is the key." Morticia winked, then her face faded until the crystal ball was blank.
Enid sat there for a moment. Replaying the conversation in her head multiple times.
"You're relationship with Wednesday is the key."
What is that even supposed to mean?
Enid was in a state of autopilot for the next few resets.
You’re relationship with Wednesday.
Our dearest daughter has fallen to the curse!
Lover.
It was pathetic really. But it was time for her to wake up. She needed, needed to figure out how to break the Time-loop. Living the same day over and over was exhausting.
The day went by quickly. With Enid constantly in her thoughts she barley noticed anything around her. Then a loud ding was heard from Wednesday's typewriter.
Enid blinked and looked around. She was in the dorm. And very much still in her school clothes.
Wednesday got out of her chair and then crawled through the window. Enid decided to follow her out, a blanket wrapped around her shoulders.
Wednesday was already setting up her Cello. Enid sat on the floor and watched Wednesday with interest.
She sat there with her bow at the ready, before she glided across the strings.
A soft melody played. Enid blinked in surprise, usually Wednesday played haunting classical music in a minor key. But this... this was different. Softer.
Then Wednesday started humming. And Enid swore that the moon started shining her light on Wednesday, Almost as if the moon knew that this moment was special.
"Amor mío." Enid's eyes widened. Was Wednesday singing?
"Eres el ser que amo sin fin. Pasión e idilio amor mío. Razón eterna de vivir."
In a weird way, Enid felt as though Wednesday was singing to her. But Enid didn't dare to hope.
"Amor mío."
"Mi vida es toda un vacío sin ti. Quiero que me sientas cerca. Y así tus ojos en mí, amor mío."
"Amor mío."
Wednesday stopped singing and let the Cello play. The music carrying all the unexplainable emotions that the artist felt.
Wednesday began humming again. Softer this time. Harmonizing with the music and letting it take the lead.
"Amor mío." Wednesday's voice trailed off with the music. Until all that was left was the sound of crickets chirping.
It was that exact moment when Wednesday looked at Enid with a soft look in her eyes and an unknown emotion shown so clearly on her face.
Enid knew.
Enid leaned her chin in her hand. And smiled at Wednesday like she was everything.
Maybe she was.
Enid fell asleep that night with a mission. She must confess her feelings to Wednesday. And when Enid woke. Turning her alarm off, she looked at Wednesday's sleeping form.
She nodded to herself and turned away from Wednesday, and walked towards where Thing was resting.
"Psst, hey Thing," Enid whispered.
Thing 'woke up' and stretched his fingers.
"Morning, so I need your help." Enid began telling Thing her plan on confessing to Wednesday, and Thing piping in with his own ideas.
Enid nodded. "Yeah, this sounds great. Amazing even. Thank you so much for helping, I'll get you your moisturizer for helping."
Thing gave Enid a heart. "Aw, I love you too."
Enid then walked to the bathroom to get ready. It was a big day after all. When she walked out of the bathroom, there Wednesday was, waiting by the door for her.
"Morning Wednesday!" Enid waved at the girl. Wednesday nodded.
"I'm surprised you have energy. You usually don't the day after a full moon."
Enid shrugged. "I feel like today's going to be a good day is all." Wednesday hummed in response while walking out the door.
They walked to the quad. Enid watched as the ball was thrown, heading on a path straight for a window, and rushed to catch it.
"Hey, good catch!" The boy yelled. Enid threw back the ball and the boy caught it with a grunt. Enid winced. "Sorry!"
Wednesday and Enid continued their walk to the caffatiera in silence. Enid payed no mind to the couple that was on the verge of a breakup.
The day passed Enid by. She was too focused on her plan for later today. She did try to stop Yoko from making her potion, but the room flooded anyway.
School was over. And Enid couldn't stop overthinking. What if Wednesday didn't actually like her? What if Wednesday was grossed out and decided not to be at the school anymore? What if, what if, what if.
But as soon as she saw Thing give her a thumbs up, she knew that the what ifs don't matter.
Enid looked at Wednesday, her back straight and her fingers flying across the keys. She nervously approached the smaller girl. "Hey, Wednesday?"
Wednesday stopped typing, "Yes, Enid?"
"I was wondering if you'd like to go out into the forest later with me?" Enid's heart was beating out of her chest. "You don't have to, but, I have something for you."
Wednesday's silence was making Enid more nervous. Her stare saying so much and yet nothing at all. Then Wednesday nodded, and Enid felt her body relax.
"Cool! I'll let you know when." Enid smiled and skipped her way to her bed.
Cool? God, she was such an idiot.
When the time came to leave, Enid was trying her hardest not to answer any of Wednesday's questions, only giving vague hints.
Wednesday was rightfully suspicious, but Enid knew that all of this would be worth it in the end.
The wolf and the raven walked through the forest, the leaves swaying, and the insects buzzing about. The night was perfect.
Enid stopped Wednesday for a moment telling the girl to wait here. Wednesday wanted to follow but decided to listen, then Enid appeared, waving her hand, beckoning Wednesday to follow.
Wednesday ducked underneath the branch Enid was holding up, then stopped in her tracks. There she saw an old rickety tree house, close to falling apart with just a gust of wind. The tree house was on a dead tree, with nothing above it, so you could see the stars clearly.
Wednesday was stunned. "Come on." Enid gestured, and Wednesday followed.
When they got in the tree house, Wednesday saw a black blanket laid on the floor, with food that looked like it was from home.
"This tree house has been here for a long time," Enid said, swinging her arms in place. "I wouldn't be surprised if your parents knew about it."
Wednesday looked at Enid. "Why did you bring me here?"
Enid let out a nervous laugh. "Well, so we could have a nice dinner, I even asked Thing to make food from back home." Wednesday blinked and looked back at the food, one of her favorite meals waiting for her.
Wednesday sat down on the blanket. Smelling the delicious aroma of the food, Enid's stomach grumbled. "Let's dig in yeah?"
Wednesday nodded and began putting some food on her plate. It's been a while since she's had her family's food after all. The girls ate mostly in silence, having conversations every now and then, but they both were just content to enjoy the food.
When they finished eating Enid dragged Wednesday up on the roof to watch the stars.
"Do you know anything about stars Wednesday?" Enid looked at Wednesday. Her eyes trailed Wednesday's face.
Wednesday hummed. "I do. Would you like to hear about some?"
"Yeah."
Wednesday scooted closer to Enid, then pointed up at a set of stars. "That cluster of stars right there, is Orions Nebula. Where stars are made. And that," Wednesday traced a few stars, "That is Orion, God of Hunting. It's been said that Zeus himself placed him there."
Enid traced the consolation, with awe. "So the Orion Nebula makes stars?"
"Yes, all Nebulas do, but Orion is most noticeable in the night sky." Wednesday scooted even closer to Enid. Thier shoulders were ever so slightly touching. Her hand tracing stars. "Gemini. The legend of Castor and Polydeuces are from Greek mythology, twins born from Queen of Sparta and have different fathers."
"That can happen?"
"It's rare, but yes. It can."
"Huh."
Wednesday continued pointing out constellations and star facts, and Enid, well. Enid was in a trance of sorts, listening to Wednesday's voice, and seeing the concealed excitement on her face. It was beautiful.
Wednesday was like a supernova nebula. A piece of the universe that formed into something even more stunning.
"-nid? Enid?"
Enid blinked. "Huh?"
"Where did you go?" Wednesday was lying on her side facing Enid.
"Nowhere really." Enid smiled. "Just, with the stars I suppose." Wednesday hummed.
"You know," Enid spoke. Turning to her side to look at Wednesday. "Watching the stars with you, It means more to me than you'll ever know."
Wednesday breathed in sharply. Staring at Enid for a moment before raising her hand, slowly inching towards Enid's face. It hovered for a moment before she softly placed it on Enid's cheek.
Wednesday's eyes were infinitely soft. And her irises sparkled like stars. Wednesday shifted closer and pressed her forehead against Enid's with her eyes closed.
Enid sighed. Now this, this right here? Is exactly where Enid wanted to be.
When Enid opened her eyes, she saw Wednesday had hers already open. Wednesday glanced down at her lips. Enid swallowed, her body buzzing with nerves. Wednesday pulled back, a question in her eyes. Enid eagerly nodded.
They both leaned in at the same time, their noses bumping against each other. Enid lightly chuckled before repositioning her head and properly kissed Wednesday.
They say that fireworks happen when you kiss someone. And Enid thinks that it's so much more than fireworks. It's calmer, but still all consuming like fire was.
Enid had to lean back for air, but Wednesday chased her lips, not allowing them to separate for long. Wednesday gave a soft final peck before leaning away.
When Enid opened her eyes, her brain shortcircited. Wednesday had dimples.
Wednesday. Had. Dimples.
"Dimples," Enid whispered. Wednesday rose a brow.
Enid poked at one of the dimples. "You have dimples."
"Don't tell anyone or I'll have to drown you." Enid laughed while leaning in to kiss Wednesday again. The stars growing brighter with every kiss.

Enid shot up out of her bed.
That alarm. That dammed alarm.
"No, no no no please." She scrambled to grab her phone. Groaning at the bright light blinding her. She desperately blinked, trying to unblur her eyes.
Saturday.
It was Saturday.
Her entire body sagged in relief. She laid back down, laughing. Wednesday, who was sitting at her desk looked at Enid with concern.
Enid found Wednesday's eyes and smiled. A smile so big it looked like it was going to rip her face open. Enid got up and immediately rushed to Wednesday, wrapping her arms around her shoulders.
Wednesday became stiff, her head shooting back painfully. Enid backed up a little in shock. Wednesday inhaled sharply when she came back and was scanning Enid's face in wide eyed desperation.
"I remember." Wednesday stood and roughly grabbed Enid's face smushing her cheeks.
"Wha?"
"I remember everything. All those times, when I tried helping you get out of the loop, that day when we were in town, watching the sunset and holding pinkies. That night when I sang to you, I remember all of it."
"You do?" Enid's throat felt tight, her eyes watering.
"Yes." Enid reached out and pulled Wednesday in, holding the girl in a bone-crushing hug. Tears falling on Wednesday's shoulder.
"I apologize that you had to go through that mio sole," Wednesday whispered. Enid sniffed then pulled away.
"It's okay Wednesday, I'm just, happy that you remember."
Then, Enid hummed. "I have to thank your parents." Wednesday furrowed her brows slightly.
"Why?"
"They were the ones that helped me figure it out." Enid shrugged. "Apparently this whole time loop business is because of your family, has to do with some curse."
Enid walked to Wednesday's chair and sat down. Grabbing the crystal ball, she poked at it. The ball became foggy before Mortica's face appeared.
"My darling raven how- oh, Enid! How wonderful to see you. May I ask why you're calling?"
"Hi, Mrs. Addams. I called to say thank you. You don't remember but, I- I was stuck in a time loop, and you helped me figure out how to get out of it."
Morticia smiled. "You are very welcome dear." She paused, eyeing Enid in a way that made Enid think that maybe, just maybe, Morticia knew.
"Did everything work out alright?"
"Yeah," Enid looked at Wednesday, her eyes shining and a loving smile growing, "Yeah it did."
