Agent Walker backed up, confliction warring within him. "I-I don't know. I'm no-," he inhaled deeply, "I'm not a ninja or whatever you say I am. I don't even know who I am! But you were right, Ras is crazy, and the Administration is... well..."
He shrugged. His electric blue eyes stared at hers determinedly, a frown fixated sharply on his still beautiful face.
Nya struggled to keep tears back.
"But if what you say is true... I need to figure it out on my own, because I don't know who to trust."
Nya felt a part of her break at those words. There was a time where Jay trusted her fully, but even though this man had the same face as the love of her life, had the same mannerisms and speech; she began to realize it wasn't Jay Walker, her yang, that stood before her.
It was Agent Walker.
A stranger.
It was at that realization that any composure she mustered up at all her encounters with him broke.
Tears slid down as Agent Walker stepped back carefully.
Despite his statement, he looked torn on what to do. As if his heart knew that his place had always been next to her, but his brain just couldn't catch up.
The floral around them rustling in the breeze, and the soft melody of a nearby river flowing by made it seem like a peaceful picturesque scene. It was anything but. Nya stood stone still, not even sure what to even say at a moment like this.
She desperately wished someone else, like Cole (or Kai) was with her to do something that'll convince Ja- Agent Walker that they would help him.
But no, she stood there useless as the love of her life made the decision to leave them, her, after fighting desperately to get him back. But somehow a part of her knew that it didn't matter what anyone said, Agent Walker was going to leave either way.
Finally, Agent Walker spoke, seeming like the confusion he had cleared up.
"Maybe... I'll return, one day. Once I find myself." His electric blue eyes was lit with an emotion Nya shockingly couldn't decipher.
As Agent Walker walked away into the distance of the forest, the shadows cloaking his figure, Nya finally mustered words to speak and whispered softly into the night:
"And I'll be here waiting. I love you, Jay Walker."
