Danny has lived a long time since becoming the Ghost King, her old mortal body has become less used and forgotten her Phantom side fitting her more ghostly side over the years. Her family and friends didn’t become ghosts and moved on centuries ago but Danny hasn’t. Her world is gone thanks to nuclear war and spending all her time in the Infinite Realms is getting boring even with Cujo. Getting a change in scenery should help with that though, still being able to do her duties as Ghost King in the mortal realm Danny goes to the DC universe to take a mini vacation and live a little in her immortal Halfa life.
Strangely at the same time, Billy was heading back to Fawcett after a meeting with the Justice League. Billy did not expect to see a toxic glowing green portal open up in an alley—especially a giant winged eldritch space, deer, bear thing wearing a royal cape and crown, oozing with magical energy stepping out of it. Guess it’s Billy’s job to show the the weird magic royal ghost king around to make sure it doesn’t destroy the world or universe as they know it. He is the Champion of Magic after all.
Time for a Ghost King and Champion of Magic to find family, deal with their problems, save the world, get normal human food, and learn about ghosts and humans together.
Billy is happy to learn more about the Infinite Realms and Danny is more than happy to relearn how to be human again after so long.
