Summary
It had been 4 years since his father's, both of his father's, talk. instead of seeking revenge, he let these emotions drift past him, into nothing more than nightmares and memories. He ruled Pribyslavitz fairly and justly, as its Bailiff, for four years, building up a large stockpile of wealth from the exemption of taxes, but not all is well, the constant rumors of that ancient mountain to the town's back, Mt. Ebott, swirl across the tavern and quiet places of the province. It's cursed, they say, but full of gold and silver. Henry never carried for these rumors, and apart from sending the occasional locater to find any surface deposits, he didn't bother with the mountain. That is, until today. And today, he would find himself in an entirely different world—a world, of Demons.
