Summary
Lucifer loved his daughter. However, that did not mean he was a very good father; so when he receives a phone call from Charlie one day, he's absolutely ecstatic. That joy is quickly depleted, however, when she informs him there's a human in Hell, who had been accidentally summoned when a foolish demon tried to reverse engineer a summoning circle in an attempt to get back to Earth. His irritation only grows when he learns Charlie made a pact with said human to protect her.
Unfortunately, not having a way to send her back home, she remains in the hotel and Charlie has them exchange numbers in case of an emergency. Lucifer uses this as a chance to learn more about his daughter, calling the human frequently and asking after her, until one day the human makes a suggestion that... he takes a little too seriously- and when his anxiety gets the better of him, he forces her hand to help him. What's surprising is, despite being coerced, she's genuinely been trying to offer advice and suggestions.
