Maybe its how Alhaitham is somehow always there to pick Kaveh up from the tavern after a long night of drowning out sorrows in the corner of lambads. Possibly even how Alhaitham would leave sliced fruits out for Kaveh after a bad argument. Maybe it was the small signs of care peaking in that made Kaveh want to pick a fight.
