In the wake of his Grandfather’s failing health, Lucerys and his family spend a holiday at King’s Landing—a great, crumbling manor in the countryside.
Something has been visiting Lucerys at night—with nothing more than touching and bruises left on his thighs come morning. But when thirst cannot be slaked by anything else, he soon finds out: more than blood, monsters often develop a taste for tears.
