My name is Percy Weasley and I live with my husband Oliver in a small flat in London. We’re not far from my sister ginny at Grimmauld place. For this reason we often have one of my nephews over to stay. Albus doesn’t have the best relationship with his father Harry. Harry finds it easy with his eldest James they enjoy similar things like quidditch and they are very protective. The youngest lily is fine too she is like ginny though a little more bookish. Albus however is different, he likes his own company and hates quidditch. It probably doesn’t help that he is a Slytherin and best friend of a Malfoy. But Scorpius is a wonderful kid and Slytherin is not a bad house just stigmatised by the wars. I think he is most like me of all the Weasley cousins. He often comes here as a place to get away from his busy home. Me and Ollie like having him here but we also want him to spend more time with his family, he’s shutting himself off from them.
Today is a Wednesday in mid-July and I get home to find Ollie cooking.
“Hey, I thought it was my turn to cook” I say.
“Well yes, but your late back and ginny sent post” he points to the table where a quickly scrawled note is sat.
Sorry about this but I think Albus is coming to yours he had a bad argument with Harry and left the house quickly with a bag. I sent teddy to follow him just to be careful but he is most likely to go to yours and if he goes anywhere else I’d prefer he ends up with you two is this ok?

Ginny
“Any more information than that?”
“Teddy sent a patronus to say they were heading this way and would probably arrive about 6.30 so any time now”
“Ok I’ll be back in a minute; I need to reply to ginny. How long will dinner take?”
“About 10 I expect”
“Ok I shouldn’t be long”.
I walk through the kitchen, to the desk in the living room, to find paper and a quill. We live in a 2 bedroom flat, with a separate kitchen and living room. It’s not too small nor too big just perfect for the two of us. I open the desk and find what I need then sit down and write.
I pause as there is a knock on the door Ollie opens it, and as expected Albus comes through with Teddy just behind. Unsurprisingly, albus had noticed Teddy following him but let him. I quickly finish the letter and send it to ginny with Autumn, our owl.
Ginny,
What happened he isn’t here yet but teddy set a message saying they’d probably be here soon. Is everything ok at your end?
Will let you know when he gets here
He has just arrived with teddy and I’ll feed them. Not sure what after as I haven’t talked to them yet.
Percy
Returning to the kitchen I find everyone sat down and dinner nearly ready so I set the table and watch Albus and Teddy who was wearing a she/her bracelet today telling me which pronouns to use. Once we have all eaten Ollie’s bolognaise, I make hot chocolate and we move to the living room. Albus seemed much better having eaten so I ask what happened.
He says that they had all been in the living room. Ginny was working, while Teddy and Albus read, and Harry was listening to Lily and James talk animatedly about the school year. Yet again. Then they mentioned how Albus and Scorpius had gone to Hogsmeade together a couple of time. James accidentally let it slip, forgetting neither Harry nor Ginny knew Albus and Scorpius were together. Harry then said it was nice going to Hogsmeade with friends, making Albus turn red and run out of the room.
Everyone noticed and Ginny followed him to find out what was going on she had guessed about albus and Scorpius so he had just confirmed with her and she said she loved him no matter what. Then they agreed that he should tell Harry so they went to get him. So Harry and Albus went downstairs so albus could explain. Harry had replied saying that him being bi was fine, but started questioning his choice in partner. Saying how the Malfoys were death eaters, and he could tolerate the friendship but not this.
After he finished speaking Albus left for the spare room probably to talk to Scorpius. Soon after another letter arrived from Ginny.
Sorry you have to deal with this Percy,
We were in the living room and then James and lily say a few things about Scorpius and albus left embarrassed I followed him to find out what was wrong and he said he was going out with him so I said cool and said he should probably tell Harry and that Harry would be fine with it too.
So he told harry then they started shouting they were in the kitchen so I couldn’t hear what they were saying but went to stop them fighting and albus ran upstairs then left soon after so I sent teddy to follow as I knew she was the best person to watch him at the time and then told Harry how stupid he was for saying such things to albus as he said he was being silly and how could a potter love a Malfoy.

Good that you have albus I presume he is going to stay the night with you as long as that is ok. Do you know what teddy is going to do? I’m happy for her to do what she wants.

After reading I ask, “Teddy what do you want to do?”
“Is it ok if I stay here? I think Albus could do with the company.”
“Of course I’ll let Ginny know you still have some pyjamas here don’t you?”
“Yep”
With that. I write a final letter to ginny.
I think albus will be alright. Once him and harry have had some time to cool off they’ll sort it out. He’ll always have us though. No matter what. I hope he knows that.
