Grantaire shrugs. “Old family secret.”
This seems to confirm Enjolras’ suspicions, whatever they are. His entire body is tensed, his fingers curled tightly onto the edge of Grantaire’s small table. His eyes dart to the door of the cabin, like he’s trying to judge how fast he could run out of the room if needs be. Grantaire continues to watch him in silence.
Eventually, he asks, “Who are you?”
