“Damian.” Timothy entreats him, Damian wants to crawl out of their bed, out of his skin. “Don’t…please don’t pull away from me.”
“I’m not the one who brought up the argument.” Damian snarls. Except that’s entirely the wrong word for it. They didn’t argue about shit. Timothy told Damian what he really thought of him, and Damian just took it. He took it like he always took everyone’s disappointment and disgust in him. He didn’t argue.
To have the gall to call it that makes Damian—
“It was like it used to be.” Timothy whispers, and that stops every thought in Damian’s head.
