   "Akutagawa was still an ass, but he’d fought alongside Atsushi, sort of. Had dragged him away to safety afterwards, too.
   And… it was different now. Atsushi no longer felt that same sharp irritation and anger, now that he knew him more.
   It helped that they had grown into a habit of running into each other frequently. At the grocery store, the laundry mat, and embarrassingly enough that one time Atsushi was running errands in his pajamas.
   After the time the president got poisoned and they had to fight together, Atsushi could safely say that Akutagawa was no enemy of his. More like a persistent rival swearing to kill him. But not an enemy."
