    "Wangji, Wei-gongzi, follow me". It was the end of the last lecture of the day when Lan Xichen had gone to meet his brother and the Jiang First Disciple.

    The two boys looked at each other and bowed in greeting, falling in step behind the GusuLan Sect leader. They did not know where they were going, but seeing as this was Lan Xichen they were not concerned. They walked for a while, passing the Jingshi and the Hanshi, with Lan Xichen giving not even the slightest sign of stopping at any of them. They passed all the areas that were frequented by the sect as well as the guest disciples and took a very well travelled, but secluded, path.
