Summary
Elaine Mouret is a young woman who has chosen to pursue a career life like her father, rather than set out as a Pokémon trainer like her mother once had. Now a couple years older than the typical trainer starting age, she finds herself patiently waiting for some future where she has figured out exactly what she wants to do. Her younger brother, Matthieu, has just come of age to start his lap around the region without special permission and he soon intends to travel from their home west of Camphrier to Santalune to face his first gym challenge. As the dutiful elder sister, Elaine finds herself pulled further and further along as her world gets increasingly out of hand.
