Its been years since Midnight moved away, Dark assumed it was because Midnight didnt support him and Alex’s relationship, but honestly, he didn’t care. He had been happy with Alex for a while now, and he started to forget that Midnight even existed. He laid on his roof floor with Alex, listening to the Big Chungus theme song. It was extremely romantic. They stared at the stars, just as they did when they got together for the second time. It was nostalgic, the stars, with Alex. Dark used to lay on his roof all the time alone, but now he has someone to do it with, Alex.
Midnight lived in Pennsylvania, starting to study robotics in a nice school, while Dark and Alex dropped out of highschool. Misty and Shae decided to travel the world together, Boo lived in an apartment in canada with Bug, having two cats named Lasagna and Ravioli, everything seemed right in the world at that moment.
Or maybe it wasn’t, even if it wasn’t, Alex and Dark didn’t care, they finally got to be happy, together. Not seperate, not Dark with Midnight, not Alex in the closet, together. And that's all that matters to them.
Chapter 678: Soup entry 68
They are getting closer. Their screams are deafening, I fear that I may go deaf soon. The neighbors are gone, they must've heard them, and moved immediately .. I hope they do not hunt further after they get me.
Every so often, Dark cant help but think of his old life, but it always seemed like something was missing, like he was forgetting someone.. a K name, maybe? No, it was nothing. Not that it mattered now, Alex and Dark started packing to move to New York, Dark always wanted to move there, and of course Alex wanted to go with him, They decided to both become writers, as it was both of their dreams, they lived the rest of their life in New York, Alex wrote stories for netflix and Dark started publishing his own books. It was perfect, and it continued to be perfect for the rest of their lives.
