“Only one of these boys are leaving this room with you alive,” Shepherd enunciates his words very carefully, and holds the silence in the air. He keeps that pause on hold, dangling the anticipation, relishing in their waiting.
Then the bomb drops.
“And you’re going to pick who it is.”
