Summary:

bryce is at work, liam is tired, and airy is oblivious to the world around him. and it's his birthday apparently.

edit btw : i want to elaborate that airy and liam are just friends, i'm not shipping them and a lot of things in here are based off of the fact i have an airy fictionkin and this is a comfort fic to me so ummm yeah

i don't ship lairy and i'm not very fond of the ship either, i don't wanna get in arguments over this but i really don't like or understand the ship so yeah

also this won't be updated again for a bit

Notes:

Chapter 1: was that a south park reference??? wait

Chapter Text

in a dark room, airy was kneeling with a laptop on his lap. sound effects and other noises were coming from it as his eyes were fixated on the bright, blinding screen.

the door to his room creaked open as liam gently opened the door. airy was too absorbed into his game to notice.

"airy." liam spoke.

no response.

"...airy." he repeated, raising his voice.

"wh-what?" airy quickly turned his head. "liam..? do you need... something? i'm playing world of warcraft."

"okay, nice to know, but-"

an overused text-to-speech suddenly spoke. "don't listen to him liam he's playing hello kitty island adventure and i have been witnessing it"

liam blinked. airy blinked back. "oookay... i really don't care. airy, i need to ask what your favorite cake is."

airy stuttered. "um... cake... yeah.. i think it's umm... uhhhhh-"

"okay we're not doing this. get up. we're going to the bakery so you can pick one out." liam rolled his eyes, expressing his annoyance towards the oil lamp. "and bryce took the car to work, so we're walking there. i don't trust either of us to drive anyways."

"oh... okay." airy replied, heaving himself up and putting away the laptop on a shelf, making sure to leave it open. "...don't delete my files this time."

"i cannot promise that" the text-to-speech voice spoke.

"umm... well i.. hope we can work on that. i don't want you to be mean to me." airy stepped back, turning around to walk out the door, calling out a quick goodbye to the text box before shutting the door.

"huh." the text box said to itself.
