“Reg.” James glances down the corridor, and then gives Regulus’ captured shoulder a little shake. Regulus tugs said shoulder out of his grip with a sniff. “I’m begging you here.”
That is new. Regulus cocks his head, something diabolical likely better left unlit igniting within him. James has not backed up. It’s chilly in the corridors this time of year, but Regulus can feel his body heat.
“I’ve never seen you beg before,” he says. “This is sort of fun.”
Regulus watches in wonder as James chokes out a groan and thuds his forehead against the middle of Regulus’ chest. He decides he'll allow it for the time being.
