Hello, my name is Izuku Midoriya and I passed the text of the UA entrance exam just now, I am waiting for the results.
I've just turned 14 yesterday, and there's nothing on my personal folder that say that I skipped last year of college, which is actually a lie, I was smarter for my age but the teachers didn’t care. But there is a reason why I wanna go to highschool one year earlier.
On the news, they said this year’s entrance exam was exceptionally easier. He went for the general and not the heroic. He didn't want to miss my chance. So he sort of classified his records... he could have at least tried the heroic exam, right? Well, yes, but general studies have a residency/dormitory program that the heroic doesn't have. And that's probably better than staying out on the streets. Parents of heroic often need to be contacted for permission for workouts and other, so it is apparently preferable that students can see their loved ones with everything they expect with the heroic.
Well, that's what Principal Nezu said.
He was currently in a free gym for any age that was not far from where he slept.Parallel bars were not what he preferred in the gym, it is for this reason that he focus more on trapezes.He loved being upside down and throwing it around for some reason. In fact, this thing started in the park around the age of six.
thinking about six years old izuku : He liked to climb trees, so when at about 3 a.m, he was stuck in a big tree like a kitten in distress and a certain man came to rescue him and saved him but decided to put his head upside down with his magic scarf to lecture him, obviously he had not stopped laughing until he was finally touching the ground. The last thing that man said was something like "you should consult, kid."
A few days later, he was desperate to see the heroes currently training in a private forest.
He saw this information on a slightly illegal website, but that's okay.
He knew that Ectoplasme, Present Mic and midnight was there, apparently had to pass a test to be able to teach at UA, there were probably others.
He was running now, he had managed to get through the security. It was rather late and shouts could be heard, but that's okay. He's not afraid. He was always running, looking for a hero, then he slipped. Something wrapped around his ankle is about 2.5 meters high, head upside down.
He took a moment to breathe properly.
Why did he think he might even have the chance to see a hero.
He'd only be a nuisance, after all. Even with these thoughts, he was smiling. Why? He didn't know. It's sensations in his stomach make him want to do more, try new stunts, excitation ? (Not in a sexual way, in a exited kid way) He was there with his arms and his other leg hanging, but free. Suddenly, he heard a noise that brought him out to his thoughts.
He tried to look around and saw a large figure.
He remained silent, but dared not avert his eyes from the thing. Was it a villain? Or a robot? Is it planned ?
"Hello, little listener." The voice was reassuring but suspicious.
Izuku did not expect the figure to speak, so he jumped.
Now that he thought about it, the voice was pretty familiar and so was that nickname. Maybe it was a hero...
Present Mic! He was so surprised that he didn't even notice that he had spoken aloud.
The silhouette now out of the shadows was indeed present Mic."Yes, you know me.. What are you doing here?" Izuku could not answer, completely in his world. Did the upside-down act like drugs on him? Anyway, after a discussion, Present Mic quickly realized that the boy wasn't supposed to be there, so he made sure he got home safely.
The only regret that Izuku still has today is that he didn’t got his autograph...
Now, Izuku was rocking from trapeze to trapeze, about four meters from the ground, the feeling and desire to do more and learn more had hardly disappeared. But he's having fun anyway, so the fact that he didn't have any protection from falling didn't mean much to him.
But apparently not to that boy with purple floating hair who stared at him, gaping and totally not discreet for a while already.
So he decided to jump.
The goal was to land on the ground with a forward roll.
Everything went as planned and he was now in front of the boy who looked the same age as him but really taller. "You realize I know what I'm doing, I'm not going to fall." He now looked embarrassed and looked away.
"Do you want me to teach you ?" Maybe that's what he wanted.
"No! I'm afraid of heights... um... I was just impressed." Why did he look scared? Izuku, being curious, wanted to know more about this boy.
Usually, no one saw him other than a common circus boy.
"Hey, what if we go somewhere else?" The boy looked at him, doubtful, and then nodded.
In the end, everything went a little fast. The boy is named Shinso Hitoshi, he was 15 years old and came to train. He had tried the AU exam heroic and gen-ed, but the exam was not at all what he expected. And now they were silent, enjoying the quiet. But Izuku wanted to know more about him.
"So, what's your quirk?" The boy shocked, apparently not ready for the question.
"I'll tell you by message. Only if you give me your number."
"What a flirter you are..." murmured Izuku loud enough that only he and Shinsou could hear. He blushed but still took the phone Izuku was handing him to put his number.
"I'll have to go, see you later." Izuku nodded and waved at what he hoped would be a new friend.
After some minutes alone, he rode up to a roof and climbed it to find a corner where he could be hung upside down, then like a bat, he fell asleep in that position.
