Summary
The ocean is a dangerous place, it's unpredictable, and has terrifying creatures that live under the surface. Yet humans still choose to go near it and 'test the waters' as they say. They take the fish, pollute the waters, and worst of all kidnaps what belongs to the sea. It was clear as day to those who lived in the waters that humanity had no interest in preserving their natural habitats. Ferris had heard this tale over and over by his elders, but he didn't want to believe that all humans were bad. Well, at least not the ones in the arctic.
Ferris did his very best to follow the advice of hid elders to stay away from any humans at all. He did everything he was told, and yet it wasn't enough. To be captured by the people he defended for years of his life felt like a stab in the back. But in his most desperate moment, he was face to face with a floating mask in the mirror beckoning him to take its hand.
The last thing he could hear was the sound of hooves clacking against the floor. Why was it so dark? Was anyone else there?
