Summary
The war ended unexpectedly with the Reapers repairing the relays, cleaning up the mess, and leaving, taking the Citadel with them. Meanwhile, Shepard has been sending messages to her crew, letting them know she was alive, but that she can't come back. Well, no one's going to just accept that, least of all Garrus. If she can't come home on her own, then the crew of the Normandy, past and present, are going to her! There's just one little problem: the New Council does not want them to succeed.
