   Summary

   Kaidan Alenko is a special agent with the Alliance Intelligence, he is in the race for a nomination as the second human spectre so he takes on an assignment which he figures will be pretty difficult, but worth the possible promotion. His job is to go undercover and infiltrate Aria T'loak's orginization to learn of her plans to unite the gangs of Omega. The easiest way in is mercenary John Shepard, the younger brother of the first human spectre.
