Expunged was irritated, Bandu wont stop nagging her about the demon core. What the fuck was that? Expu didnt know, he didnt want to, but the information was forcefully learned thanks to Bandu not shutting the fuck up about it.
"Its like a very radioactive core that was going to be used in a nuke but it didnt so some scientists started to play around with it!"
"Cool, now shut the fuck up."
Bandu resumed eating his cereal, rapidly munching on it before talking again, ignoring her brother's wishes.
"So like, one of the scientists was very careless with it, right?" That got a loud, tired groan from the red-dressed god.
"Dont 'right' me I dont know what you're talking about."
"Right. So like, he opened the core with a screwdriver, nothing happened until he closed it again and everything around it was infected with very high radiation!"
"Did it kill everyone?"
"I think so!" He shoved the spoon with cereal on his mouth, happy that Expunged was listening to him.
Expunged just sighed, annoyed. She enjoyed the silence that came after, before Bandu beamed, a terrible, stupid and totally dangerous idea coming to his mind.
"What if—" He looked at Expunged, shaking a little from excitement, both not noticing how outside the house the sky turned green, overlapping his siblings powers. "We do that for a video for my youtube channel?"
"Will it make you shut up?"
"DEFINITELY!"
Without further ado, Expunged suddenly disappeared. Bandu quickly went to his room to take one of his phones, giggling to himself, thinking how cool he would look messing around with science stuff (is this science stuff?? idk)
Maybe he should ask Dave first before messing with it...
Nah, Dave was just a boring algebra teacher, what does he know about radiation? definitely nothing other than dumb numbers going higher and higher in different and unnecessary complicated ways.
Expu appeared, leaving the whatever-the-fuck round thing on the table, there were some humans desperately trying to take her away from it but she really wasn't in the mood to mess around, so she just decapitated one of them which shocked the others long enough to steal the core.
"Bandu, your uh, thing is here!!" She screamed.
Wasnt too long before Bandu came floating down the stairs rapidly, phone in hand.
"Oh, is that it? kinda small for something deemed as very dangerous."
"Yeah i can agree on that," Expu distanced itself from the core. "Now do it fast because i dont want that thing here for long. Could fuck up a 3D shape or something."
Bandu nodded, tapping on his phone the camera, starting to record before filming himself.
"Ok, its recording." He said towards his sister, who didnt say nothing.
Bandu coughed before smiling and starting to talk towards the phone's camera.
"HELLO GUYS!!" Expunged could be seen cringing behind Bandu at the loud and annoying voice. "Today we'll be doing something very cool, you've probably heard about it, i have not.. UNTIL NOW!" he pointed the phone towards the core. "This thing! is uh- has radiation, like, a ton of it?" He looked behind, Expu just shook her head from side to side.
"Just get it over with."
"Like, a tons of it... Didnt somebody die when they opened it?" He asked to Expu.
"Yes but it wasnt immediate."
"Huh. Anyways," Bandu summoned a screwdriver with a flat head, pointing it towards the core. "I will be opening this thing because it'll be cool!"
"Yeah, dying is fun! thas what they say haha"
Bandu got the screwdriver closer, poking the core with it. He paused for some seconds, a poker face decorating his head before looking at Expunged again.
"...How'd you open this thing?"
"MY FUCKING GOD- you- just move up the smaller thing."
Bandu put the head of the screwdriver in the middle, pushing until the head was in between the silver(?) parts, slowly opening the core. He waited some seconds, frowning at not noticing any notable changes around him.
"This does nothing!" He whined, "i thought there'll be like a cool explosion or something..." He started to take out the screwdriver.
"You shitclown, what else do you expect from the fucking 2D creatures they're all dumb—"
A sudden blue flash filled the entirety of the room, and just how fast it came it was gone within a second. A high pitched scream and a thud was heard while that happened. Expunged shook his head, feeling weird, the flash felt like someone directed a beam towards her that somehow phased through her body, but she was fine. Mostly.
She opened her eyes seeing Bandu on the floor, eyes widened and stiff body, phone laying not too far from him. They slowly got closer, amused but slightly preoccupied.
"Bro holy shit that felt like someone just phased very toxic gas through my entire body."
Expu just smiled, taking the phone before stopping the recording, leaving it next to Bandu before taking the demon core where it belonged.
Bandu sighed, he felt weird in the bad kinda way, he hoped Expu would help him soon, because for some reason his powers werent strong enough for him to make it to his bed.
"I dont... Feel so good..."
He passed out, hopefully he wasnt dead in the next chapter lol
