Summary
Wei Ying was the thing that changed the Sunshot Campaign. By all means, the people who knew him should not question his methods as much as they did. He was a walking mess of wounds and curses, a hurricane on stilted and stumbling legs. He did what was asked of him, followed war and waged hell upon the opposing forces that threatened to kill the other remaining sects. He was the person the campaign relied on to fill in the gaps, and yet they all questioned him.
If he stepped away from what they asked of him, he was doubted worse than he had ever been trusted. It was a thin line, now, the thing he crossed in the dark. As long as he did not act rashly, nothing would be done against him. And yet, that was a naive way of thinking.
