Summary
One moment, Laurel Lance is seizing on her hospital room bed, the next instant, she’s falling out of bed in her apartment eight years in the past. How is this possible? Who has done this to her? Laurel doesn’t know, but after taking stock of her life, both as it was in the future and as it is now, Laurel decides she doesn’t want to continue down the same path as before, a path that led to her death at the hands of a deluded man-child. With nothing but her clothes and a few personal belongings, Laurel flees Starling City and the coming years of supervillains, heading for her hometown of Gotham City, unaware that Gotham could now easily be considered the Supervillain Capital of the World. There, Laurel learns who she truly is, and the Black Canary shall rise from the ashes to make criminals everywhere tremble in fear of her name.
