Summary
Just as Fodlan had been reunited under the rule of the new Emperor Edelgard and the songstress was ready to perform in the capital’s opera house again, the ship Dorothea was in sank in a storm. For some kind of miracle, she’s still alive.
When she wakes up though, she finds herself in an unknown land of white beaches, luscious forests and a group of masked soldiers on their way to capture her. When she’s brought in the presence of the tribe’s chief, his daughter, a purple haired woman with a marking under her eye, pleads to spare her life: she vows to integrate the Fodlaner into the community and to teach her how to live as an islander until she can find a way for her back into the continent.
But while Dorothea’s heart is torn between her comerades and her homeland and her devotion to the “princess”, a conspiracy untangles in the shadows, where old and new enemies are threading new plans under the leaves and across the ocean.
